It's been a while/Anna's Adorable Anecdotes 3

So I know it has been a while, but my life is pretty boring and I don't have much to say lol!  I did however want to add the new picture of Anna and I at 24 weeks.  It's going fast.  I say that now, but ask me again in about two months and I will tell you how much it is dragging on :)

Anna's Adorable Anecdotes 3

For the last couple weeks whenever Anna has said funny things I have thought "I really gotta write that down"  but I of course didn't and my pregnancy brain allows me to retain VERY little, (Johnny Cash better be a genius because he has taken all my brain cells) but I have managed to remember a couple.

JB made us pancakes for breakfast the other day and first of all if you saw the picture on my facebook Anna INSISTED that she had to wear her Disney hat backwards to the table which was funny enough as is.  However, then she asks JB how she was suppose to cut her pancakes and he told her with the side of her fork.  She looks directly at him, gives him the stink eye and just says "that's weird"

Last week I was tickling her and she was just laughing and laughing then she starts telling me to stop and I of course didn't. So she stops, puts her hands out and yells "red light".

Last night I was on the phone with my mom and she said something and I responded with "shut up"
Anna looks at me and says "We not say shut up Momma we say no way!"

Anyone that watches Fresh Beat Band on Nickelodeon knows that every time they get in a jam they say that's it's making them go bananas, then go into this whole song and dance.  Anna sat down on the potty and says to me.  "Momma this big girl potty is making me go bananas"  I thought she was going to break out in song and dance, but she didn't!

Anna's Adorable Anecdotes 2

I know I said I was going to do these on Wednesdays, but yesterday was just crazy and I didn't really have anytime.  I am not really sure anyone was really missing it either, but I am glad that I am just writing these down so that I can go back and laugh at them!  I have already done that with last weeks post :)

JB:  Hold on a minute
Anna:  (looking at her hand) I not holding nuffin

JB so kindly bought us donuts on  Saturday morning that were shaped like hearts.  He took it and ripped  it in half so that Anna could eat half.  Her response was "Daddy, don't break my heart"  in this pitiful little voice.  It was so cute

One night this week Anna went to bed at her normal time and about an hour later I hear her knocking on her bedroom door.  I went in the to tell her that she needed to go to bed and she said "Ma, can I come out now? " I of course told her no, that she needed to go to bed and she responds "but I knocked"  once again in her pitiful little voice.

Me:  Anna come eat a carrot
Anna:  No tank you.  Rabbits eat carrots and I don't wanna be a rabbit

Johnny's First Close up

Well yesterday  was our ultra sound.  It was so hard not finding out what the sex was.  I kept looking at JB and saying "are we sure?"  Then he would respond with either "its up to you" or "yes we are sure".  So we finally decided to stick with our guns and not find out.  Here are some of Johnny's close ups.

sucking his/her thumb
The doctor said that he couldn't find a thing to complain about and everything was looking great.  Johnny's measuring a little larger, but only like 4 days so there's no reason to change the due date.  Johnny better wait till June 13th at at least 3:05 to begin to make his/her debut or my whole plan will be ruined  LOL. The 13th is the last work day and I really didn't want to have to miss any school, but I guess it's not up to me anymore, its all up to Johnny. So, we will have to wait and see if he listens.

Anna's Adorable Anecdotes

When I was teaching I always said that I was going to write down all the funny things my students would say and write a book called "Quotes from Kindergarten".  Well I of course I didn't do that and now I can't seem to remember anything.

Now I have my own child and she definitely has some funny things to say.  So what better way to remember all the funny things she says then to write a weekly column entitled "Anna's Adorable Anecdotes"  So whether anyone reads it or not, I just want a record of them to go back and laugh at.  Typing them out probably won't even do it justice cause she's not saying it in her cute little voice, but oh well here's a couple!!

So I was climbing up and down the pull down steps to the attic putting things away and Anna says "Mom can I help?"  I tell her that I didn't need help but thanks anyway.  She turns to me and says "Fine Ma, suit yourself" and just walks away.

She puts her shirt in her drawer claps her hands together and says "That should do it!"

My crazy dogs were barking, like usual (hence why we say we live in a nut house).  Anna opens the bedroom door, walks out of the room, throws her hands up and says "Alright.....I've had enough"  Shes a tough little cookie.
